Kim Quick - R.N., CRNO, C.O.E

Kim is the Practice Administrator here at Central New York Eye. She manages both the Poughkeepsie and Fishkill locations. Kim has been with us for over twenty years! She is a Registered Nurse and a Certified Registered Nurse in Ophthalmology. Kim graduated 4th in her class from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Elmira New York. After graduation she worked at St. Francis Hospital while continuing her education at SUNY New Paltz. Kim has just recently sat for and passed the Certified Ophthalmic Executive exam. This certification is a comprehensive body of knowledge including clinical ophthalmology, finance and accounting, marketing, operations management information systems, human resources, and risk management and regulatory compliance. As with her CRNO certification, Kim is required to receive continuing education credits as directed by the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators. As an active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, Kim regularly attends continuing education meetings and seminars.  Through her dedication and altruism, she leads our practice to a cohesive work environment that encourages outstanding patient care and team spirit. She ensures that the office flow runs smoothly on a daily basis and keeps the Doctors on their toes! In her spare time Kim enjoys her 2 wonderful children, her chocolate lab 'Duke' and working out.    Karin Ericson - COT

Karin is a Certified Ophthalmic Technician and is the Supervising Head Technician here at Central New York Eye and wears many hats here in our center. Her caring demeanor makes her loved by all. She has been with CNYE for 10 years now. Karin coordinates much of the Laser Vision Correction processes with Dr. Fox. To include patient care, testing, scheduling, financing and set-up. In addition to that she oversees, along with Nigel, a staff of 8 technicians. She is a wealth of information, not just to patients but to the staff as well.    Nigel Norton - COT

Nigel is a Certified Ophthalmic Technician and is also a Head Technician. He works closely with Karin and all of our Eye Surgeons. Together with Karin, he assists in managing a staff of 8 technicians. His experience and motivated attitude are absolutely contagious. Talk about a sense of humor! The patients love his outgoing personality! It's clear to all that Nigel takes great pride in his work and goes above and beyond for our patients. Nigel is also computer savvy and helps around the office quite a bit with networking and technical issues. In his free time he enjoys working out, playing hockey and gaming.  Edna Barr

Edna is our financial guru. She takes care of one of the most important issues to our employees. Payroll! She also oversees benchmarking, billing and collections.   Julie Anderson

Julie is our front end supervisor. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the front desk to include scheduling, referrals and insurance verification as well as many other duties. Julie has been with the practice for 4 years now. She earned her Associates degree from Dutchess Community College in 2002.  In her free time, Julie enjoys watching movies, shopping and surfing the web.
